Adhesive Bonding
At the Kunststofftechnik Paderborn, adhesive bonding as a material-based joining process is one part of our research. In particular, correct pretreatment of the polymer is a main focus of our scientific investigations. For this purpose, the Kunststofftechnik Paderborn has a dedicated laboratory with a CNC-adhesive bonding machine with an integrated atmospheric pressure plasma die which can be used for 1 or 2 component-adhesive bonding applications.

- integration of pressurized plasma pretreatments into existing polymer engineering processes
- process development in bonding WPC-surfaces using dispersion adhesives
